Our textile collections are all handmade and handpicked from various regions of Morocco. We source a range of Vintage Moroccan pieces as well as work with our makers on newly made creations and bespoke pieces. All textiles are made from 100% wool and genuine Moroccan one of a kind beauties. Explore our collection from another side of the world.
New Collection
Over the next few weeks we have various Moroccan Rugs arriving to the store. This collection focused on the quirky imperfections and blasts of colour in each design- featuring some very rare vintage rugs woven in the 1970’s.
We also have some newly made contemporary rugs arriving- all newly handwoven featuring a more classic and neutral palette.

INDIA
We hand collate a small collection of one off jewellery pieces sourced and made in India, Nepal and Morocco. We often collect vintage pieces that have been made decades ago and worn for ceremonial purposes. Each piece is a celebration of handmade beauty from a diverse range of eastern cultures.
WHO WE ARE
After beginning in 2020, Johny Opal Home stemmed from my own Interior Design practice- where a love for textiles was always key in my designs. Since travelling and meeting talented artisans and makers we now source Vintage Moroccan Rugs as well as design contemporary pieces for clients here in Australia. We love colour, imperfections, and the art of the handmade. Each piece is a work of art, made from ancient traditions and carried into the contemporary home.
